Hard-pen calligraphy classes are usually divided into several stages, each with different learning content and goals. ‌‌

‌ Enlightenment and elementary class ‌ : mainly for the children from kindergarten to Grade one. Teaching at this stage focuses on teaching correct holding and writing posture, using a pencil to write basic strokes and simple Chinese characters in the "Tian Zi grid" exercise book.
